Made using Bondo polyester fiberglass resin and denim or twill fabrics.
Requests and suggestions are welcome! It just takes me a little time to
get it made and supplies ordered if don't already have them.
All planks are meant to be cut in half to make scales.
If there appears to be a papery substance on the plank, that would be the wax paper, some doesn't come off real well, but sands off just fine.
Samples of knives handled in the shown material below picture if available.
Blue Denim, a heavy weight denim.
18 layers.
Red (bordeaux) denim, pinkish backside.
Surface is roughest of the bunch due to the plywood we'd switched to after the board used for the blue denim started coming apart (was three glued longways from some old bookshelf).
Rough surface may affect pattern if you're looking for straight layers.

Forest Camo Twill
Made by using 4 sheets of each color and alternating the layering of them.
Cocoa brown, fatigue green, black, and another green that was either lichen
or loden.

Forest Camo Burl
Made by using Cocoa brown, fatigue green, black, and another green that was either lichen
or loden.
Center piece has been wet to better show final color. Blocks can be cut into scales upon request.

Dark Blue/Red Denim - Ladder Pattern
Made using a denim I'd found that is blue on the front and red on the back.
Layered up and manipulated with a ladder pattern.
I ground the surface off one scale set to show the pattern. They will come unground.
The coloring will get a bit darker as the surface is sanded to a finer grit to closer match the fabric.
I have fabric to make more. Inquire if interested.
Blue Denim Burl - First Attempt
First try at making some of this, it came out okay, but not quite as I wanted, so I've got another method to try in the future.
Figured I'd list it incase someone wanted to play with some, small voids are possible.
I'm planning to try some on a blade myself, and just use some epoxy in the voids.
